Highland Student Council


Student Council is sponsoring Highland's 4th annual Light Up Highland Night on Friday, December 9th at 6:00 PM. Please join us for a night of celebration as illuminate the campus of Highland. We will have musical performances by our 1st Grade, Chorus, and several classes in each grade level. Student Council will be selling Hot Chocolate and Holiday Cookies. All proceeds go to support Highland families in need of Christmas Cheer.  

Next Student Council Meeting: Tuesday, January 10th at 7:30 in the Lab

The purpose of Student Council is to develop a positive school climate by involving all students in making Highland the best it can be! Student Council strives for good citizenship, respects all individuals in the school and community, and gives students experience in a leadership role. Student Council helps other citizens in our community through service and makes recommendations to improve the morale and spirit of Highland Elementary School.

Light Up Highland
When: Friday, December 9th
Time: 6:00 PM

** All council members need to meet after school on Tuesday, December 6th until 4:00 in the gym to make the luminaries and practice our skit. Members should plan on staying after school on Friday, December 9th to set up the luminaries in the parking lot. Dinner will be provided at 4:45. Members are asked to assist at the refreshment table during the program. Please wear your council shirts and dress according to the weather. See Miss Fogleman is you have any questions

Fall Festival Thank You!
Our Student Council would like to thank you for supporting Highland's first Fall Festival! We had such a fantastic night of fun-filled activities and great food! We brought in approximately $3000!
